  The advent of paper cups
In 1907, a man named Lawrence Luellen developed what became known as the "Dixie Cup" to help improve public health. He then developed an automatic dispenser with disposable cups and began to educate the public about the dangers of sharing water cups. In fact, Dixie Cups was originally called "Heath Kups" because its original purpose was to promote public health. During the 1918 Influenza pandemic in the United States, paper cups quickly became popular as a means of avoiding infection. Since these cups are not reusable, drinking the drinks from them can slow the spread of bacteria, thus promoting good health. In addition to hygiene, paper cups offer convenience and make life easier. Experts estimate that 220 billion paper cups are consumed globally every year.

The process of making paper cups
Printing: large rolls of paper purchased by manufacturers. One side of the paper is coated with a specially prepared plastic to make the inside of the cup. Next, the reel is fed into a machine on the other side that prints the design. When printing is complete, another machine is used to cut the paper containing the design individually into small pieces called flat sheets. A flat surface to make a cup. The final size of the cup depends on the size of its surface.
Molding: Piles of flat, flat material are rolled into cylindrical shapes by a large machine, which seals them by heating wax already applied to the inside of the paper forming the cup. The paper fed simultaneously from the far end of the machine is rounded to make the bottom of the cup. After obtaining the bottom of the cup, the spare slips are thrown away and recycled. Finally, the cylinder and base used to make the full cup are sealed together through a heating process.
Machine forming and packaging: First, use chutes to transfer cups to different machines. The machine forms the rim of the cup by rolling paper over the top. The cups are then sent to be packed and stacked in tubes of the correct size. After collecting the required number of cups into a stack, another machine wraps the bags around them and finally seals them. Eventually it becomes a package that is about to be shipped. The whole process from making the cups to packaging takes about a minute.
Testing: While leaky cups are rare, all paper cups need to be taken out of the production line and tested. The cup removed for testing is placed in a specially designed holder on top of the mirror, which allows the person carrying the test to ensure that it does not leak. When a leak is detected, the specific line will be stopped until the problem is found and corrected.

The production of paper cups has become more mechanized and efficient. As a matter of fact, in order to maximize the use of 6oz paper cups, 7oz paper cups and so on, a cup dispenser is recommended. The handy cup dispenser model helps store cups without damage and dents. These devices are essential in busy restaurants and other food service stations.
